Underwater Treadmill

Utilizes the buoyancy of water through added resistance to reduce pressure on painful joints, even allowing non-ambulatory patients to walk because water reduces the weight the patient must carry. The buoyancy allows exercise with decreased load that increases strength, muscular endurance, cardiorespiratory endurance, range of motion, agility, and psychological well-being. For increased challenge, we can even add jets to increase the work for athletes.
